Long time no talk. It's been a while since Shock interviewed Mad Margritt frontman Eddie Smith. This time they talked about the band's new album Straight Through the Heart, the departure of longtime MM guitarist Davay Ray and the band's spring and summer tour plans. The infamous Japanese hair metal band, Loudness, made their SJHRS debut.

Fresh off a radio grant competition win, Shock was tearing it up in the studio. New listeners called in, Paul Porzio was in the studio, and if you were watching the webcam, you would have seen Shock rocking out on air guitar to the hair metal. It was a great night!

The Shock Jock Hair Rock Show won the 2005 National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB) A&M Grant Competition. The winner received free admission to the 2005 NFCB Conference in Baltimore on April 12-16. The winning episode was show 118-Nuno Bettencourt Interview Special-originally broadcast on October 29, 2004.
