-- -- -- The One Year Anniversary show came off without a hitch. Congratulations to Gavin Ruddy of Northern VA. He won a DVD copy of the American Mullet documentary. Nobody could answer the trivia question, so we made it easy on the listeners to win. The first caller to tell the SJHRS what they like about the show won. -- -- -- Help Celebrate the Shock Jock Hair Rock Show's one year anniversary next Friday night, July 11. Listen in and you could win a pair of tickets to the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland or a copy of the documentary American Mullet on DVD. We'll be playing some special hair metal songs, taking requests and reliving show highlights over the past year. If you would like to request a hair metal song on the show, please email us at hairrockshow@cox.net. # posted by groovesocket @ 10:51 AM
-- -- -- There was no official Hair Rock Show on July 4th. We figure most everyone was out either watching fireworks or BBQing, so we left it up to the studio to play festive patriotic music or an old Hair Rock Show. We don't know which, because we were out watching the fireworks on the Mall. We hope you enjoyed whatever WEBR played. It will be the mystery show 51. We'll be back next week live for our 1 year anniversary show. # posted by groovesocket @ 10:48 AM
